Ending Assessment for 3 year old
- Recognize first name
- Print first name ( at least first letter of name)
- Count to 10
- Counting – one to one (counting objects)
- Recognize some of the numerals from 1 to 10
- Knows Colors
- Know 3 out of 6 basic shapes
- Can sing the Alphabet song
- Recognize some upper case letters
- Knows basic body parts
- Use scissors correctly
- Put a simple 4 – 6 piece puzzle together
- Bounce a ball
- Hop on one foot
- Can listen attentively
- Can follow simple directions
- Works and plays well with others

Basic Supplies
Most Common Supplies You Will Need!
- 1 package of multicolor construction paper (9×12)
- 1 package of multicolor construction paper (12×18)
- 1 package of white construction paper (12×18)
- 1 or 2 glue bottles
- 1 box of crayons – (you may decide to purchase the “jumbo” size crayon for small hands!)
- Washable Markers
- Pencil – “jumbo” or regular
- 1 pair of scissors
- Stapler
- Small containers of tempera paints. – (red, yellow, orange, blue, green, purple, black
- white, brown.)
- Paint Brushes
- Popsicle sticks (craft sticks)
- Wiggly eyes – assorted sizes
- Pipe cleaners – assorted colors
- Calendar – this can be large or small! – Used to encourage learning the days of the week, months, counting, and patterns
- Stickers/Stamps
- Paint Smock- purchase or just make one!
- Plastic table cloth
- Flag
